Manipulating Genes and Cells-How DNA Molecules Are Analyzed-Nucleic Acid Hybridization-DNA Cloning-DNA Engineering. Membrane Structure-The Lipid Bilayer-Membrane Proteins. Membrane Transport-Carrier.
Course objectives

After completing the course, students are expected to:

  • Be able to recognize and understand basic biological phenomena, processes, structures and cell organelles
  • Be able to solve simple problems related to the flow of genetic information
  • Be able to participate in simple biological experiments in the lab
